April 9, 2004, CHICAGO: Gala and Chicago Premiere Screening of DOMINATRIX WAITRIX at The Leather Archives and Museum (6418 N. Greenview). Come and see what Chicagošs queer and bdsm players are talking about! This sci-fi sex romp is sure to evoke vibrant discussion about the ever-growing collection of women-made, queer porn-art. Made in three years for under $15,000 with an all-volunteer, all-Chicago cast and crew of 60 mostly non-professional performers and filmmakers, DOMINATRIX WAITRIX is an important addition to Chicagošs independent film scene. Now it is finally ready for the public.
On April 9th, The Benefit Gala and Chicago Premiere Screening will be held at The Leather Archives and Museum from 7-11pm. The evening will begin with a reception with live music by Chicagošs chamber punk ensemble APARTMENT and complimentary wine and hors dšoeuvres. The screening will begin at 8:30pm, followed by a Champagne Toast with homemade chocolates, Q&A with the cast and crew, and a Strip Auction of clothing and props from the film. Tickets are $20-$30 donation and may be purchased in advance from the website: www.DominatrixWaitrix.com or at Early to Bed, 5232 N. Sheridan. No under 21 will be admitted. Valid ID must be presented for entry.
On Saturday, April 10, there will be 7pm and 9pm screenings of Dominatrix Waitrix at The Leather Archives and Museum on Saturday, April 10 for an $8 donation. No advance tickets. Doors open at 6pm. 21+.
